Dani
I was born and raised in Kansas and have lived here throughout my life. I graduated from college in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and now I'm continuing my journey to become an Occupational Therapist. I have always had a passion for helping people, and I am so excited to help people gain independence as an occupational therapist. Another big part of my life is my love for traveling. Even better if Sophie and Bailey tag along as well! I love going on hikes in Colorado or honestly anywhere with mountains. I hope to explore many more places. It was my love of adventures that I was able to live in England for 6 months during an exchange program during my undergrad. This was the most incredible experience of my life and I will talk anyone's ear off about it!
How did I start making tags?
I have always had a love for painting, even when I was younger. However, I stopped when I went off to college since I didn't have the space to keep supplies. Since being back in my hometown and after the stress of my first semester of graduate school, I started looking for ways to get my mind away from my schoolwork. When I made some tags for my own dogs, I found that painting helps relieve some of the stress. I got lots of support and interest in my tags after showing them to friends so I decided to open up a shop to share my art with others.
Sophie
Sophie is my family's golden retriever lab mix. We rescued her around 8 weeks old and she has been in our family for over 8 years now. She has the stereotypical golden and lab personality. She is a sweet and gentle soul that loves people and soccer balls. She has torn both her ACLs and will occasionally struggle to get around, however that has never dulled her sense of adventure and her love for hiking.
Bailey
Bailey is my family's red golden retriever who is over 2 years old now. Originally, my sister and her husband asked us to go with them to look at some golden puppies to add to their family. Next thing we know this sweet little girl wiggled her way into our hearts. So while we went to get one, we ended up with two pups. She is sassy, independent, talkative, and absolutely loves her family. However, tennis balls have the number one spot in her heart. She has an adventurous spirit and absolutely loves to explore and travel.
Penny
Penny is Bailey's littermate who went home with my sister and her husband. She is the sweetest golden that loves everyone and everything. She is a frisbee pup but also loves to steal the toys from Bailey and Sophie whenever she is over. She is an honorary model for the shop and always helps me model the tags, along with Sophie and Bailey.
